TASTING NOTES FROM THE BREWER
To understand this beer you first have to set the scene of its natural habitat. Friends and strangers clad in Dirndl and Lederhosen as far as the eye can see, the sounds of merriment mixed with accordion as oompah music blasts an upbeat tune throughout the room and the smell of bratwurst, sauerkraut and pork knuckle wafting all around. What is the one thing missing from this picture? A large glass of smooth, clean, pale German lager of course!

Pouring golden and clear with a thick white head that laces the glass all the way to the last sip. Light malt characteristics you'd expect from your draught with subtle hop aromas which make this the perfect beer to enjoy on it's own or with a meal. Banana is the aroma that immediately catches your nose, although it isn’t a true banana smell like eating a piece of fruit or ordering a banana blast at the juice bar, more like unwrapping a banana paddle pop from the service station. Combine that with mild bubble-gum and subtle leather-like clove, all layered over a hazy golden full bodied beer and you have an incredibly refreshing and interesting warm weather quaffer.

This is your classic American Pale Ale with an Aussie twist. Copper in the glass with a thick off-white head. Expertly selected malts coupled with some classic hop styles make for a moreish beer. Expect a piney and resinous nose with a hint of citrus. This Pale drinks with a pleasant bitterness followed by the malt sweetness that balances the beer.

Pillowy white head sitting on a juicy yellow hazy beer. Big tropical fruit including passionfruit with hints on citrus and stone fruit fill your nostrils before that first sip. Thick and juicy on the palate, this beer drinks easy with a low bitterness and big flavours.
